| Well. Huh. Sorry about that. Busy as usual-- actually busier than I've been for a while. The new job is going well-- every day I find something new to enjoy. And now that written boards are over (hopefully forever!!) I may actually have time to read about pediatric surgery instead of studying review manuals. Or rather, sitting with review manuals in my lap and watching the Olympics...Like the rest of America, I have become an overnight expert in swimming, volleyball, and some weird sport that looks like fencing but involves aluminum-foil helmets with flashing lights and screaming after each 1.26-second battle. Only a few days until it's over, when I can return to early bedtimes, and not having to see or hear Bob Costas anymore. Seriously. Shut. Up. [Looking forward to Saturday afternoons of telling Kirk Herbstriet to shut up instead.] | | |

Generally my excuse for not keeping up is because there's really nothing to talk about.... Today's excuse is that things have been insane lately and I am just stopping to catch my breath. Bad things first: 1. the last seven weeks at disGrace, my un-favorite hospital ever....2.MORE car breakdowns that I cannot afford..... 3. saying goodbye to friends who are moving on.... Mixed in with a lot of good things: 1. I NEVER HAVE TO GO TO DISGRACE AGAIN.... 2. after they fixed my car they washed and waxed it so it looks like new (for as much money as I gave them it's the least they could do).... 3. Graduation, etc, was a really great time with friends. 
The Girls all came back for a reunion...  Received some lovely and edible new jewelry... 
My classmates and our bosses, all squinting into the blinding sun. Glad they hired a professional... Currently I am vegetating in St. Joe, recovering and trying not to think about how I'll probably be busier than ever starting July 1.... | | |
